EnergyROM Bluetooth Handsfree - fix?

I've been using NRGZ28's EnergyROM on my TP for a while, but the recent ones haven't worked with my in-car stereo (it works as a handsfree via BT).

Well, after a bit more fiddling today, I finally sorted it I think, so I will post the solution here for others, as it may be useful...

I did searching in the registry for Handsfree, and found the relevant key. I then did some googling and came up with this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms880945.aspx

I noticed two things: I was missing the NoHandsFree DWORD, and my Capability DWORD was a different value to the default.

So I added the NoHandsFree value, set it to 0, and then edited the Capability one to be 0x21, rebooted, and it works!

Flix 2 progress

First off, apologies for the lack of updates recently.
This is because I've been working on Flix 2- a new version with a completely new OpenGL based UI, and a different source for movie data.
Things are coming along OK, and if you would be interested in testing Flix 2 before it's release then let me know- especially if you are happy to edit an XML file to provide other languages (I have someone who is happy to do French already).

If you want to know if Flix 2 will work in your area then go to www.google.com/movies and see if anything is returned for your location...

Flix 1.0.9.2 available.

I've made available a new version of Flix, with the following changes:

-Fixed download for US/Canada due to Yahoo change.
-Changed Italy URL (although it still seems to not find stuff a lot when I test it)
-New version of scroller control
-When viewing showtimes, you can tap the movie/cinema title to view it. (Showtimes button will be missing at this level, otherwise you could drill down forever!)

Flix 1.0.9.1 Available

Flix 1.0.9.1 is now online.

This is a small bugfix release, the changes being:

- Fixed a problem "ignoring" Cinemas from the Cinema info page.
- Added function to stop the device from going to sleep during updates (should hopefully make the download more reliable)

FLix 1.0.9.0 Available

A new version of Flix is available!
This version is mostly a few bugfixes, however a major interface change is also present- Movies and Cinemas are now presented as a scrolling list rather than the slower "left/right" method.

Canadian users - note that Canada is now a separate country in Flix, so you should go into the Config page and select it correctly before downloading.
